This 44"x36" wall chart shows the most significant jihadi attacks from a global perspective between 1998 and 18 Aug. 2011, color-coded by year. The chart details 129 attacks in 31 different countries with an emphasis on incidents outside of major insurgent theaters and attacks conducted by al-Qaeda and its affiliates and regional arms. Linkages between 16 different jihadi groups and the attacks are shown. Each attack is depicted by the main tactic used, such as car bomb, explosive device, shooting, kidnapping or rocket attack. Attacks with 50 or more killed, such as the London 7/7 attacks and the Marriott Hotel bombing in Islamabad on 20 Sep. 2008, are in bold.
The wall chart has an adhesive backing that lets you attach it directly to a wall and then pull it off and reposition it when you want. It is made with a polypropylene based material that is water resistant and flexible with a matte surface finish.
